Is your site bad-ass, or just bad?

Your website is pretty darn important. But it can be confusing to tell if it’s doing what it should! These 3 simple tools can help you find out...

1. Does my site rank well?

Great site content (or good SEO) helps visitors find you. In a non-stalker kind of way.

  • Open SEO Analyser

  • Enter your URL and check your “on-page SEO score” out of 100

  • The report gives tips on how to spruce up your SEO if it needs a little helping hand

2. Is my site easy-to-read?

  • Open Contrast Checker

  • Add your site colour codes to foreground and background. If you don’t know the codes, select Get from image and upload a screenshot from your site

  • The circles at the bottom let you know what’s working well and what’s not so swell

3. Is my site fast?

If your site’s speed sucks, you’re losing visitors. No jokes.

  • Visit PageSpeed Insights

  • Enter your URL and check your score out of 100

  • Toggle between mobile and desktop in the top left to see how your site performs on each device

  • If your score is highlighted in green your site is kicking butt - keep it up! If your score is red or orange that ain’t good. But it’s probably something easy to fix!

And that’s it! How did your site do?

Contact us and let’s chat results. Perhaps we’ll be able to drop some knowledge that’ll make your website kick butt!
